Dedicated to Rescue

This gallery contains pictures taken mostly of one particular rescue effort we were involved in the summer of 2006.  With the help of our supporters, we rescued twelve horses from slaughter in this effort.  These photos are a small glimpse from arrival and quarantine, up to being ready for adoption and a new home.  Of the almost 100 horses we handle each year, from good situations as well as bad, I felt compelled to share at least a glimpse on this website.  I will not share any “skin and bones” kind of pictures here, just glimpses, and mostly after rehab.   All of them do carry a piece of my heart in them and I hope you enjoy.  This section is dedicated to Duke….see you at the Bridge buddy.
